The Final War – Book Review By Dr. Charles Rudiger, a professor, an exceptional educator, leader, and a WWII Veteran
THE FINAL WAR
Avoiding It Through a New Harmonic Society
The essence of this timely and terse text is that the century-old Heartland Theory of Halford MacKinder has been rewritten to relocate the locus of the geographic and political Pivot Area from Eurasia to Jerusalem, from which all power ultimately
emanates.
In The Final War – Avoiding it
Through a New Harmonic Society, the polymath authors, Col. Fernando Morote-Solari, Professor Elsa-Sofia Morote, and Dr. Patricia Bowens McCarthy, focus on the developing and inevitable military, economic, and geo-political faceoff between China and the United States; unwilling combatants in a potential Armageddon. The results of the recent Olympic Games in London are a harbinger of what might be anticipated in Sino-American relationships in the future.
The authors initially posit precarious and ongoing situations in the Middle East—Israel-Jordan-Iraq-Iran, on eastward to Afganistan and Pakistan and finally, to the emerging behemoth, China. But it also encompasses Africa, Central
and South America, where Chinese interests are proliferating. Two decades ago, The Kiplinger Report pronounced: “The 21st Century—Color It Yellow.”
Morote-Solari,et al assert that the projected confrontation can be obviated by the Law of Universal Harmony, which is undergirded by Judeo-Christian precepts, Eastern concepts, and principles such as dynamic balance, static equilibrium, ascending and descending transformation, and synchronized movement. The goals and objectives of Universal Harmony are achievable when nations take ownership for development strategies, policies, and programs—perhaps through agencies of the United Nations—that result in harmony and sustainability.
In sum, The Final War reveals the realities of impending confrontation, and the steps that can be taken to
prevent it.
